If an unhealthy view of sexuality can be established while young or accepted by the women in their lives, then the men who most commonly consume internet and other pornography would be ever more enticed to start or continue down a road to absolutely nowhere.

I have been addicted to pornography since I was 12. How do I know I am addicted? Because I have tried to stop many times. Because it has interfered with my school, relationships and work. Because using it I have lost sight of the beauty in life. Because I know.

I have spent many nights crying myself to sleep, wondering if I would ever find a way out of this darkness. I have at times not had any hope. But I’m here to share that there IS HOPE to overcome a pornography addiction. About six months ago I began to study the word of God. It turned on a light. I slowly began to see things more clearly. Slowly but surely I began to see how important my family and friends were. I began to notice beautiful things more regularly and my desire to love and serve grew. It was in this state that my prayers of deliverance began to materialize.

I had been to many therapists and groups to address these issues, but while all were helpful to one degree or another I never felt the hope that I do now. I have been going through an internet based training program that’s helping me to overcome my porn addiction.

Some say that there’s no harm in viewing pornography. If that’s your belief then you will find nothing here.
