Wendy Maltz, LCSW, DST, is an internationally recognized sex therapist, author, and lecturer, with more than thirty-five years of clinical experience in the mental health field. She is a leading sexuality expert who specializes in helping people recover from porn addiction, heal sexual problems caused by sexual abuse, understand and heal sexual fantasies, and develop skills for healthy sexuality.

Wendy is coauthor with her husband, Larry Maltz LCSW, of The Porn Trap: The Essential Guide to Overcoming Problems Caused by Pornography (Harper, 2009), a groundbreaking and highly acclaimed self-help resource on understanding and overcoming porn addiction written for individuals and couples. Her other books include: The Sexual Healing Journey: A Guide for Survivors of Sexual Abuse; Private Thoughts: Exploring the Power of Women’s Sexual Fantasies, and two award-winning poetry anthologies on healthy sexual intimacy, Intimate Kisses: The Poetry of Sexual Pleasure and Passionate Hearts: The Poetry of Sexual Love.  Wendy has written and coproduced two sexual recovery DVDs: “Partners in Healing” and “Relearning Touch Techniques.” An experienced conference presenter, lecturer, and media guest, Wendy is co-director of Maltz Counseling Associates in Eugene, Oregon.
